Having just turned 30 and about to embark upon his ninth season in the NFL, San Diego Chargers’ running back Ladainian Tomlinson is anxious to prove that he’s still the best back in the NFL. Curry struggled along with the rest of the Raiders offense last season, amassing a mere 19 receptions for 181 yards. [...]

The Raiders have three glaring needs which have to be addressed come draft day later this month.
The first of which is wide receiver. Last year Johnnie Lee Higgins led all receivers with 22 receptions during the 2008 season. It doesn’t get much more abysmal than that. The Raiders are predicted to take either Texas Tech’s [...]

Two other receivers, Texas Tech’s Michael Crabtree and Missouri’s Jeremy Maclin have both been linked to the Raiders as being possible first round picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Heyward-Bey may have caught the raiders’ attention [...]

Raiders Sign Veteran Quarterback Jeff Garcia

After flirting with the idea of signing Garcia back in 1999, and then again in 2007, the Raiders have finally pulled the trigger on a deal that will return Garcia to his Bay Area roots.
A native of Gilroy, Garcia attended Gilroy High School, Gavilan College and San Jose State. The high point of his NFL [...]
